Yesterday we went into Boston to the Peabody Museum.
We enjoyed the Mayan exihibit there and then entered
the Harvard Museum of Natural History which adjoins
it. The Harvard Museum has the most fantastic
exhibit of glass plants that one can possibly imagine.
It is hard to believe they are all made of glass. Even
the tiny root hairs show on the plants.
After the Museum we went to Logan Airport where
we met Patricia and Thomas. All went well, although
it cost a bit in parking and tolls.
From the airport we drove to Groton to see the
old Lawrence farm which now is an upscale
subdivision with many huge McMansions! Quite
outrageous all in all.
We had dinner at an Irish Pub near Groton and
then went on our way to our motel in Norton.
We were all tired by then so said goodnight.
