Waiting for the Inauguration

This week I received an invitation to the Inauguration. I
assumed it was just a souvenir and perhaps it is. In any
case it is an engraved invitation requesting the honor of my
presence at the Inauguration. I shall cherish it and add
it to the photographs I have also been sent.

Robyn has been here most of the week. She has attended
meetings of RMBL's Board of Directors. On Tuesday her
friend Dan Jones came for lunch. That was fun; he's a very
interesting fellow. He is the techy for RMBL.

On Wednesday Robyn and I went to town and ran some errands,
had lunch at Laudicio's. Robyn said her lamb sandwich may
be the best sandwich she has ever had. My eggplant sandwich
was very good, but not the best sandwich I ever had.

On Thursday Robyn's visit came to an end which all things do
eventually, I guess.

I am looking forward to meeting with Jared's folks next week
and find out what I can do to be of use to them.

Finally, the conflict in Gaza has calmed for a moment.
Hopefully, the cease fire will hold and perhaps some
settlement can be reached. But, the country has been
destroyed. It will take quite a while and lots of money to
rebuild what Israel has destroyed.

The weather has become quite nice. The snow is melting and
the wind has stopped and the temperature is in the 50s. A
great respite from winter.
