about one meter of snow this month. We still
have snow piles here and there and the north-
facing areas are piled with snow. And today
it snowed again.
Missing this winter were the Chinook winds. We
didn't have any so we didn't have those warm
days we look forward to so much in the winter.
Also missing, aside from the H1N1 flu, was
the flu bug this winter. I'm sure a few people
had it, but not in the normal numbers.
During Spring Break I substituted at Jared's
Congressional office a couple of days. It
was interesting to be back there. I missed
the nasty calls that came in right after the
Health Reform Bill was passed. The calls I
got were all positive.
Ariel celebrated her 11th birthday this month.
She has really become a lady this year, especially
this spring. I noted she took the initiative in
cleaning up after our last project. She blew
eggs and colored them. She also used acrylic
paints and did not make any mess...and she
took responsibility for cleaning all the brushes
that we both used! I was pleasantly surprised
and impressed. She really is growing up.
