Our 21st Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 21st Wedding Anniversary. It is hard to
believe; the years go by so fast.

I had a hair appointment at 1:30 PM. While I was having
my hair done Robert took a load to the recycle. Then
we went to Costco. Typical of us, to go shopping on
our anniversary, but we did. Robert wanted to buy
a cell phone to have next week when we are at the
Conference on World Affairs. We may go to different
events and want to meet up. A cell phone is ideal and
Robyn had told us about hers. No monthly payments, no
contract; you just pay for minutes.

Robert did get a phone. He has spent the rest of the
day reading about it. It is frustrating because where
we live you can't try anything out!

Today I got word that I have been elected to go on
to all the various assemblies and conventions for
the nominating process up to the National. I am
not going to the National. By then everything
will be decided and we have made plans to go on a
National Trust tour of Maine and the coast which
coincides with the convention. I'm happy to go to
the others. The first is April 12th in Nederland.
That is all State participants. At the moment the
State legislature has more Dems than Republicans!
Amazing for Colorado. Hopefully, we'll keep it that
way.

The next one is the Congressional assembly and convention
the 10th of May. Viki is going to the convention part where
she is an Obama delegate. I go to both. The assembly as
a Polis and Udall delegate and the Convention as an Obama
delegate.

May 16th I go to Colorado Springs for the State Assembly to
finalize the Congressional candidates and on the 17th the
State Convention to finalize the Presidential Candidates.
By the time that is over I'll have had enough. Viki is
going to the Congressional Convention and the State Convention,
but to neither Assembly.
