Spring must be close...

Yesterday I spent the morning at the State House
District 13 Assembly. We needed 60 people to
make a quorum and there was concern since only
one person was running that no one would
show up to nominate her. There were 92 of us
and we got the job done in record time so that
I was home before 1 PM.

Our DSL had been out for several days and the
Qwest repair person was due between 1 and 5.
Robert, although curious about the assembly,
decided he'd better stay home to be sure one
of us was there when the repair person showed
up. It was good he did because the guy showed
up before noon. By the time I got home the
repair had been accomplished and we were back
on-line. It is amazing how dependent we are
on our access to the Internet!

Today is a lovely day, cool but sunny. Tomorrow's
promise is for the temperature to hit 70 degrees.
That would be nice.

I had invited our neighbor over for coffee and
cake this afternoon. We hadn't really met
him before and he has lived across the street
for a couple of years. It seemed time. But,
he has broken his foot and isn't walking too
well so begged off. He has had to cancel
his trip to Hawaii and the Ironman contest.
That must be tough. It seems much of his life
is spent getting ready for that contest.
