HAPPY NEW YEAR

I have great hopes that this year will prove to be better
than last and that our new President will be able to get us
on a better road ahead. The last 8 years have been so bad
that it seems that we are to a place where it must get
better. At least that's my hope.

The last few days have been very windy. Anyone who has
lived in Boulder for very long will know what that means!
I'm not sure how hard it blew up here, but it hit 90 mph on
Colorado 93 and 89 at NCAR on the mesa, less at NCAR north.
Fortunately, nothing blew off our roof or into our solar
panels. They survived.

I note more friends are arriving on FACEBOOK. I find it
fun. Janis announced they had arrived safely in Bayview,
but spent 1.5 hours shoveling snow to get her car off the
road and into the driveway. Yuk.
