A Beautiful Fall Week

The big news of this week, for me, was the new addition to the
living room.  I bought a beautiful oil painting of the golden
aspens.  It is a bright and cheery picture.  I am very happy with it.

Connie went with me and helped me decide and then a few
days later Robert went to see it, too.  With his approval I bought
it and we hung it in the living room and we hung the picture
that was in the living room we hung in our bedroom.

Connie came on Wednesday and we went shopping.  That is she
went along and looked while I shopped.  I bought some new tops
and a pair of walking shoes. They are black and fit well.  I've
walked several miles in them already.

On Thursday I went to my Primary Physician to get a flu shot
and a pneumonia shot.  He also suggested I see my neurologist.
I have twitches that I can't control.  I drop things and sometimes
my leg buckles. He thinks they are a side effect of the pain
medicine I take for my shingles scars.  I couldn't get in to see
Dr. Zacharias until November 13th!!  So, I guess I keep on twitching.

On Friday I saw my cardiologist and got an AOK on my heart.  If
I could learn to eat the right balance, I could get rid of warfarin...
but for now I am stuck with it and CPAC machine at night.  Joys
of the elderly.  If it's not one thing it is another.

Robert and I walk every morning about a mile.  It's good, gets the
blood pumping.

Robyn and Jan are in town.  They stopped in for about an hour today.
I think they are coming tomorrow, with beer, to watch the Sea Hawks
game.  In any case we'll record the game so they can be sure of seeing
it all, if they want to.

Hi! I just learned how to get to this blog easily on my phone. So glad because I never have time to sit at the computer anymore. Once Aspen is in bed Dana is glued to it the rest of the evening. Can't wait to see the new picture.
