Shopping for a surgeon

I have been shopping for a surgeon to do my hip replacement.
This was more difficult than I anticipated.  I found two with whom I
felt very comfortable; one at Community Hospital and one at
Avista.  I finally picked the Avista doctor because my Cardiologist
is there.  I'd feel more comfortable knowing he was only a few
steps away.  The surgery is set for July 7th and I'll probably stay
two nights.

This week we also picked a DMV disabled placard for our
car(s).

Steve came and washed the windows, inside/outside.  We are
bright  and shiny.

On Saturday, the 14th we met the Erie Cowleys at Spice China
to celebrate Martha's birthday.  After dinner we met back at
our house for cake and ice cream.  I had planned on giving
Martha her b-day present at that time, but it totally slipped
my mind until after they had left.  It was delivered at a later
date.   Robert had another CT scan that morning, but we
won't know the why of it until July 1.

Sunday night, the 15th, Jo and Alf came for dinner. They
were between trips; Jo was just back from California
where she visited her sister, Sue and Alf was just back
from Chicago where he had met with a group of his
College buddies.

The gardens are looking beautiful, thanks to Rebecca!
She works Thursdays and Fridays from 7AM - 9:30 AM.
