of those "every-eight" hour infusions. I can shower with outtaping
a newspaper bag over my arm. And we can sleep later than
6 AM!!!!! The bad news is that I am still taking antibiotics orally
4-times a day and an hour before meals or 2 hours after
meals. This will go on for, I think she said, 3 months. And perhaps
6 months?!? What a vicious bug I must have had. It doesn't want
to completely disappear. If it comes back the next step is pretty
dire and I don't even want to think about that.
I feel good and am walking without cane most of the time. If I've
been sitting for any length of time I stagger a bit as the right leg
acts contrary. But, that is very brief.
I am going to Physical Therapy twice a week. I ride a stationery
bike for 10 minutes or so. Most of the rest of the time I am
working on improving my balance.
We listened to President Obama last night. I'm sure I empathsize
with him. We really don't need another war! And where is the
rest of the world. So far it seems that France has joined in, but
where are the Brits and the Germans? To say nothing about the
neighbors of Iraq and Syria.
This morning we woke up to a dark and drizzle morning with
the temperature at 47F. Rebecca arrived at 7 and pulled weeds
for 2 1/2 hours. It looked like a miserable job. I shall probably
end her work, until Spring, soon. I have ordered 8 plants from
High Country Gardens. I hope they arrive today. Otherwise
I have nothing for her to do tomorrow. She has trimmed and
mulched and the yard looks well cared for. The forecast is
for snow by morning!
