I forgot to mention that we visited Bob Gray last
Sunday. He seems about the same as he was at
our last visit. He demonstrated the elevator he has
built to get him from basement to main floor and
main floor to second floor. It is really pretty
niffty. He has also modified the bathroom so he
can get on and off the toilet seat by himself and
take a shower by him self. He is, obviously,
still very sharp mentally. He, of course, had to
have helping hands in building the thing and
getting it installed, but he has it now. And
every thing he has added he has been careful
to have it installed in such a way it can be
removed with only a little putty and paint
to cover up what was there. He has been
very careful not to do anything that would
cause modifications to the house later.
After we left Bob's, we went to Longmont
to the Dougherty Museum to see the old-
time farm equipment display. I loved the
old-time kitchen equipment. If people still
canned they would be happy to have those
appliances..apple peelers, pea schuckers,
and so forth. I loved them and enjoyed
them being worked at this late date. By
the same token, the tractors didn't look so
different, to me, from today's.

Thanks, Mom. I am inspired. Maybe I will start writing a blog -- I mean a personal one.
