This week Ariel's summer camp was over, but school
hadn't started yet so she came up here Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday until 2:3o PM, when she had to go
for a dentist appointment.
On Monday we showed up at the Obama office to do
the promised office work which turned out to be phoning.
I took the list home and Ariel dialed and I talked. We
called 70 people. I returned the list after I dropped
Ariel off in the evening.
Thursday was a free day and I finished packing
and laundry , etc.
Friday I ran errands and stopped to pick up
my tickets for the Obama speech. They
didn't know whether I was on the list. In
the evening I got the call which surprised me
since I had told them I wouldn't be able to
go and that I'd like to transfer them. Them
turned out to be one and I couldn't transfer
it anyhow.
We left this morning, packing the car in the
rain. Yes, finally, we have had two days of
rain...YEA!!!
We stopped in Julesburg for a picnic lunch.
The weather was perfect. The rain had
stopped and it was about 70 degrees. We
had a pleasant lunch and walk.
Now we are in Kearney, Nebraska and soon
will be going to dinner at a Hunan restaurant
across the street. Tomorrow we'll go on to
Iowa City and visit the Amana Colonies. We've
never been there.
