It's good to be home and Lorena has done her magic just before
we arrived.  The house looks lovely.

Kat has been busy while we've been gone.  She looked for the
red ground cover her other garden has, but didn't find it.  She
bought and planted 3 more perennials for the rose garden.

She e-mailed or texted me, don't remember which.  It doesn't
matter because we spent most of our time where we got
neither phone reception nor e-mail.  Anyway, she asked if
she should cut back the peonies.  I answered and emphatic
NO, but she didn't get it.  The peonies have been cut to the
ground.  I don't know whether they'll come back in the
spring.  I wish she had cut the iris on the east side of the
house.  I'm sure they would come back.
