It rained most of the night, but we were cozy. Our Van does
not leak, TG. We would be pretty damp by now if it did since
it has rained almost continually since we arrived in Utah and
now in Colorado, too.
We started out to drive the Rim Road to enjoy the view, but as
we got started we realized that it was so foggy we wouldn't be
able to see any view. We turned around and headed back the
better route down to Grand Junction.
We went to a City Market (Krogers by another name) and I
did some grocery shopping. I bought some swordfish at the
butcher shop. I knew Betty and Janice would enjoy that.
After groceries and filling up at a gas station, recommended
by GasBuddy, we headed for Betty's and arrived mid-afternoon.
I had planned to cook the swordfish, but Janice said she would
like to do it, but I would have to tell her how to do it since she
had never cooked swordfish before. She did a great job and it
was well received by all.
